GMR Marketing is currently working with one of our major soccer clients to execute a promotional event in your area and is looking to hire a certified Athletic Trainer to assist with one of the most exciting events to come to the Hispanic Community this summer ? a 4 vs. 4 all ages amateur soccer tournament!

The tournament is in its 6th year, and attracts around 1,000 players with 2,000-3,000 spectators ? all in one day! There are approximately 350 games that run on small sided fields using small goals with no goalies and two 12-minutes halves. The day includes appearances by MLS legends and current MLS players, food, music, activities, and prize money for the premier division champions.

Essential Duties & Description:
The Athletic Trainer will be responsible for assisting participants in the soccer tournament in case of injury. They will also advise participants of how to treat soccer related injuries. The trainer will be the first responder to assist participants in case of a serious on-field injury.

Dates and Times:
Saturday, 7/11 & Sunday, 7/12

Job Requirements:
? Staff must be at least 18 years of age or older.
? Staff must be authorized to work in the US.
? Staff must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
? Staff must be Athletic Training Certified.
? Staff must provide their own applicable medical equipment.
? Staff must be insured for at least $1 million in liability.
? Staff must be able to interact with consumers and tournament participants for their entire shift.
? Staff must have previous soccer experience/knowledge ? as a player, spectator, trainer, and/or coach.
? Staff must be able to endure outdoor weather conditions for entire shift.
? Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred, but not required.

Wardrobe:
GMR will provide staff with a branded t-shirt. Staff will be responsible for providing their own athletic shorts/capris/pants and tennis shoes. The event will be outside so staff needs to plan their wardrobe accordingly.

Rate:
Hourly - can be discussed.
